ALPHV builds AI, data and cloud solutions for businesses across Southeast Asia. Around that work it trains professionals, convenes Malaysia’s largest developer community and recruits technical talent.
ALPHV, formerly alphatechlabs, was founded in April 2023 by Daren Tan and co-founder Khor Jeng Yee.5 The group works to three pillars: Develop. Educate. Innovate. Today it has 15 full-time staff and MDEC Malaysia Digital status, and delivers across financial services, insurance, healthcare, retail, property and government.10
ALPHV Technologies takes projects from concept to deployment across web and mobile, computer vision, data science and engineering, AI/ML and GenAI, and DevOps and MLOps. ALPHV Academy has run HRDC-claimable training since 2023 for engineers, managers and C-suite leaders. ALPHV DevRel runs developer relations, campaigns and hackathons with technology partners, and is home to Developer Kaki. ALPHV Recruit handles tech recruitment and headhunting across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Partnerships followed within two years. In January 2025 ALPHV became an official authorised reseller of FootfallCam and HIKVision,6 and in February 2025 the first Malaysian Global Strategic Partner of Alibaba Cloud, a status it also holds with FPT AI Factory.2 Three ALPHV entities were featured in Konsortium AI Negara 2025.3

An all-female ALPHV team of Nurqistina Damia, Nur Dini Izzaty and Tisha Amadea Susilo was handed a blind dataset on illegal dumping and waste management, and three hours to work with it. They placed 2nd runner-up among 26 companies.
Follow-up focus groups were then held with 12 PBTs (local authorities) and Selangor’s waste, water, road and infrastructure departments.

For WIRA AI Training Series 3 with SIDEC, ALPHV Academy delivered ‘Introduction to Claude’ on 4 September 2026 to a full house of 50.
